Análisis bibliográfico del comportamiento de la investigación ESG en Brasil de 2010 a 2023

Introducción: En los últimos años, el concepto de ESG (Ambiental, Social y de Gobernanza) se ha consolidado como referente para evaluar la sostenibilidad corporativa, impulsando el interés académico en el tema. Objetivo: Analizamos la producción científica brasileña sobre ESG de 2010 a 2023 en la base de datos Scopus. Método: Mediante la combinación de los términos "ESG", "ambiental", "social" y "gobernanza" en títulos y resúmenes con la ayuda del software VOSViewer, se examinaron 68 documentos bajo cinco dimensiones principales: instituciones con mayor volumen de publicaciones, artículos más citados, evolución temporal, redes de citas y coocurrencia de palabras clave. Resultados: Los resultados revelaron la centralidad de las relaciones entre el gobierno corporativo y el desempeño financiero, a la vez que indicaron la naturaleza fragmentada de las dimensiones económica y ambiental. Se observó un aumento significativo en la producción a partir de 2020, alcanzando su punto máximo en 2023, en consonancia con el crecimiento del interés social medido por Google Trends. El mapeo por afiliación institucional mostró una concentración de publicaciones en universidades nacionales líderes y alianzas específicas con instituciones internacionales. Conclusión: La investigación contribuyó a una comprensión crítica de la evolución de la literatura sobre ESG en Brasil, destacando la consolidación del campo, la diversificación de temas emergentes y la necesidad de una mayor integración entre las dimensiones que componen el término.
