Systemic arterial hypertension (SAH) is a major cause of global morbidity and mortality, and remote blood pressure monitoring, combined with artificial intelligence (AI), emerges as an innovative strategy to enhance blood pressure control, especially in populations with limited access to healthcare. Objective: To analyze the role of AI in remote blood pressure monitoring, highlighting its applications in the management of SAH and the personalization of therapeutic strategies. Methodology: An integrative literature review was conducted, using controlled health descriptors to identify studies related to artificial intelligence, remote monitoring, and arterial hypertension. The search was carried out in national and international databases, selecting full-text articles in English and Portuguese published between 2019 and 2024. Results: Remote and continuous blood pressure measurement, using wearable devices and AI algorithms, enables more accurate and constant monitoring of patients' blood pressure variations. AI also facilitates treatment personalization and expands access to healthcare, especially in remote areas, by enabling automatic triage of urgent cases and individualized therapeutic adjustments. Conclusions/Final Considerations: The integration of AI into remote blood pressure monitoring has the potential to transform the management of hypertension and other chronic diseases, improving treatment personalization, patient autonomy, and healthcare system efficiency, provided that technological and ethical challenges are overcome.
