Introduction: In the world there is a considerable amount of infections by SIT’s, which becomes a global issue. Given this fact, SUS offers safe and unexpensive free testing. Conducting aforesaid tests en masseleads to setting goals for the specified population. Objectives: to analyze the epidemiological profileof those who sought Primary Care in the city of Araguari-MG in the period from 2016 to 2020 toperform the serology test for STIs. Method: descriptive, retrospective study with a quantitativeapproach. For data gathering, statistical data obtained by the CAE - Specialized Support Center - in thecity of Araguari were used. Data were treated by content analysis. Results: it was stated that theprofile of those who most requested serology tests for STIs in recent years consists of people of color in astable relationship, with higher education levels and referenced by the health professionals themselves.Conclusion: The importance of getting to know the population who uses the Unified Health System stands out, in order to carry out appropriate prevention and treatment strategies for the most vulnerable.
